Community Guidelines

Treat all members with respect and courtesy. We welcome passionate football debates, but personal attacks, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Remember: banter is fun, but respect is essential.

• Attack the argument, not the person
• Avoid inflammatory or derogatory language
• Respect different opinions and perspectives, and if you can't, keep it to yourself
• No discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected classification. (Who you're a fan of is fair game!)
• No doxxing anyone for any reason

We're here for a laugh. Keep it civil:

• Profanity is allowed (we're all grown ups!), but keep it reasonable
• No sexual or explicit content
• No graphic violence or disturbing content
• No promotion of dangerous or illegal activities
• BanterFC has a strict zero tolerance policy on tragedy-related abuse. Engaging in it will result in permanent bans, and the information being saved for law enforcement purposes.

Keep discussions focused on football, your predictions, and the beautiful game:

• Posts should relate to football, competitions, or the BanterFC community
• Avoid off-topic spam or irrelevant content
• Political or religious discussions should remain respectful and should ONLY be brought up in relation to football
• Keep personal drama out of public spaces

Play fair and respect the integrity of the community:

• No exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage
• No using multiple accounts to game the system
• No sharing or selling accounts
• Report any bugs or exploits you discover to our support team

Only share content you have the right to share:

• Don't post copyrighted material without permission
• Give credit when sharing others' content or ideas
• Respect trademarks and logos of clubs, leagues, and organizations
• Don't impersonate players, clubs, officials, or other users

Keep the community focused on football, not advertisements:

• No unsolicited advertising or promotional content
• No referral links or pyramid schemes
• No repetitive or excessive posting
• No irrelevant links or content

Protect your privacy and that of others:

• Never share personal information (addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
• Don't post private conversations without consent
• Respect others' privacy and personal boundaries
• Report any privacy violations to moderation

Help us maintain a positive community:

• Report content that violates these guidelines
• Don't engage with trolls or rule-breakers - report them
• Cooperate with moderators and administrators
• Appeals for moderation decisions can be made through support

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Warning from moderation team
• Temporary suspension of account
• Permanent ban from the platform
• Appropriate legal ramifications for legal violations
• Loss of accumulated coins, rewards, or progress

Severity and history of violations will be considered when determining consequences.

We may update these guidelines from time to time to reflect the evolving needs of our community. Continued use of BanterFC after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.

These guidelines can't cover every situation. Use common sense and good judgment. Ask yourself: "Does this contribute positively to the BanterFC community?" If in doubt, reach out to our moderation team.

Remember: we're all here because we love football. Let's keep BanterFC a place where passion meets respect, and competition meets camaraderie.
